2003 Pax Grenache / Syrah / Mourvedre, Cuvée Moriah, Sonoma County

Inspired by the majestic red wines from Chateauneuf-du-Pape, this multi-layered wine is about as hedonistic as you can get from a glass of anything. Lush, soft, amazingly concentrated and complex, this Grenache based wine is very different from our Syrah based wines. Grenache is much more red fruit dominated and softer than Syrah. We also blended in small amounts of Syrah, Mourvedre, Counoise and Roussanne. You have to taste it to believe it!

Tasting Note:
Lush and Concentrated raspberries, strawberries, fruit cake and chartreuse. Mouthfilling and opulent sweet red berry compote, pencil lead, framboise and wet stone. Heady and powerful, the layers of sweet fruit linger long into the finish.
