2003 Pax Syrah, Obsidian, Knights Valley
This dramatically steep mountain-top is strewn with rocks of all shapes and sizes. The rocks are sprinkled with chunks of black Obsidian glass and little else. The 2003 is much denser on the palate and much more concentrated than the 2002 version of this wine. We know you will enjoy the intensity!

Tasting Note:
Crème de Mure, baked bread, wet stone and white truffle fill out the aromatics. In the mouth dense, ripe and lively red and black fruits intermingle with truffle and wet stone. Plush tannins add structure and depth. The wine is filled with spice, ripe mountain fruit and coffee bean on the mouthwatering finish.
