Tasting Note: Iodine, purple flowers and melted black licorice are all in the expressive aromatics of this wine. In the mouth a sweet attack of blackberries, toast, crème de cassis and BBQ spice fill the palate. The mid-palate is silky and thick leading into more spices and a smorgasbord of fruit and toasty oak. This is a very rich and expressive Syrah with tremendous balance.
