Tasting Note:
Roasted meat, overripe loganberries, iodine and quartzine aromas lurk heavily in a glass of this wine. In the mouth, pure Lauterbach Hill, or really the essence of Lauterbach Hill. Huge tannins and mouthcoating sweetness of summer fruits dominate this humungous wine. Hopefully the finesse that we adore from this vineyard will emerge with time and add detail, but at this point it is pure sexy power. You can actually feel this wine in your mouth minutes after you have swallowed it. Unbelievable!!
