2005 Pax Rosé, Mostly Syrah with a good dose of Grenache Sonoma County

Our 2005 Rosé is lighter in color, lower in alcohol and much more feminine than our 2004 Rosé making it much more…well....like a Rosé. While the 2004 behaved more like a light red wine, we are happy to report that this year’s version is crisper and not near as full bodied. Granted we had nothing to do with the outcome, Mother Nature is the boss, we just oblige her with honest winemaking.

This bone dry pink wine has inspired us to use a gorgeous new bottle shape that reminds us of some of the more romantic bottlings of Rosé from the south of France where Rosé is sheik, not cloying. We hope you like her new clothes and invite her to all of your summertime soirées.

Tasting Note:
Vibrant orange-pink in the glass with aromas of mineral, raspberries, strawberries, fresh rose petals, orange rind and nilla wafers. In the mouth crisp and clean with just enough sweetness of fruit to round out the edges and make your mouth water for another sip.
