Tasting Note:
Fresh strawberries, raspberries and lychee explode from the glass. Urgent and brightly defined fruit slip over your palate. The wine is refreshing, clean and brilliantly fruity. The finish brings along some of the familiar nilla-wafer notes (neutral oak aged) that we noticed in the 04 & 05…but we are glad to see it and thrilled how it rounds out the palate. The finish is clean, crisp and snappy enough to make your mouth water for another sip…and another sip...
Important note:
While our Rose comes in the same gorgeous bottle as last year, there is no flat-flange at the top; we agreed with you that it was a little too fragile.
