Tasting Note:
Blueberry, expressive spice, meat, marzipan and overripe peach skin explode from the glass. Concentrated and intense but feminine. Unmistakable Syrah aromas of lard, licorice, violet and blackberries carry through to the finish that adds lift and energy to an already intensely aromatic and vibrant wine. Very true to past versions, this year reminds me of a darker 2002 Terraces.
